Our name is the Soaring Eagles --- Women of Excellence.

Our unit officially began in December of 1994. Our initial group came together for many reasons: money, friendship, leadership. Our group has evolved in membership, spirit and purpose to who we are today. We are women from different backgrounds, races, experiences and ages, who have a common vision of: exploring the possibilities life has to offer, living and working by the Golden Rule, and making a difference in other's lives as well as our own. We are family-oriented, future-focused Women of Excellence.

Some ask exactly what 'excellence' means. To us, excellence is the result of caring more than others think is wise; risking more than others think is safe, dreaming more than others think is practical and expecting more than others think is possible.

It is this excellence, perseverence, and the ability to dream our world into existence that makes us special. All goals start with a dream. Achieving a goal is just a dream with hard work behind it.
